The State Security Court tried seven suspects today for attacking gendarmerie and police forces in 2015 in Maan during a police hunt of a dangerous suspect.

The brother of suspect and target of the 2015 Maan manhunt was killed in the clashes.

The suspects were charged with terrorist activity, murder, vandalism, promoting ISIS, and the possession of illegal automatic weapons.

The suspects were reported to be followers of ISIS, and were reported to have raised the terrorist group’s flag during the protests in which they participated in Maan.

The six suspects hid the two suspects the police were on the search for, and provided them with weapons, all the while monitoring police movement in Maan in order to keep the location of the two suspects a secret.

In mid-June 2015, the two suspects were informed that the police were on their trail, and were approaching their hiding spot, which gave them enough time to prepare to fend the police forces off.

During the clash, the main suspect’s brother was killed by police fire, while the former was arrested.

The hearing for the case was postponed until next Monday.
