Get ready to turn your clocks backwards!

Jordan is expected to switch to wintertime on Friday,October 27.


Clocks are to be set back by 60 minutes at midnight Thursday, making Jordan two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.

Jordan switches to wintertime on the last Friday of October each year, under a Cabinet decision taken in December 2013, while clocks are set forward one hour on the last Thursday of March.

The Kingdom has first observed daylight saving time in 1973, making this year the 39th to follow the tradition.
