If you’re a Jordanian male born in the year 2000, the Jordan Armed Forces needs you to check in with them before you turn 18.

Seventeen-year-old teens have been ordered to visit their nearest Conscription Department by 22 October 2017, as required by Article 15 of the Military Service Act, which states that “every Jordanian male must obtain a Military Service Document before they reach the age of 18.”

Individuals visiting the department should provide a copy of their up-to-date Family Book and National ID, and a passport photo.

Once a Military Service Document has been issued, it will be stamped by the Conscription Department to show that their drafting has been postponed.
