Elon Musk does not shy awar from teasing his wide fanbase with Space X and Tesla's latest technological developments.

Early today, Musk posted a video through his personal Instagram account, with the simple caption of: "Fly to most places on Earth in under 30 mins and anywhere in under 60. Cost per seat should be about the same as full fare economy in an aircraft. Forgot to mention that."

The animated video shows a number of people boarding a boat, which reaches a platform off the coast of New York City, to board a rocket which is supposedly headed to Shanghai.

According to Musk, this trip would cost the same as fare economy prices on planes, and take less than 30 minutes.

Current flights from New York to Shanghai take approximately 15 hours, costing 500 or so dollars.
