A truck overturned on the desert highway tonight, resulting in the injury of the driver and to the loss of the truck’s content.

The truck driver survived the accident with bone fractures and bruises, while the truck, which was transporting corn and fodder, spilled its content along the highway leading to Amman.

A security source reported that traffic on the road halted entirely in the truck’s lane.

The Traffic Department urged drivers to cooperate with its officers at the scene until the truck’s spilled content is removed and the road is clear.
