Half a tonne of spoiled meat unsuitable for human consumption was seized yesterday by the Irbid Medical Affairs Department at a local butcher’s shop in Irbid.

The meat, which was destroyed, was said to be infected with bacterial diseases, which necessitated its disposal immediately.
