An Israeli military court sentenced a wounded 16-year-old Palestinian to three years and two months in Israeli prison on Wednesday, according to Maan news.

The Palestinian minor was also ordered to pay a fine of 6,000 shekel ($1,715).

Lama al-Bakri was accused of allegedly attempting a stabbing attack in Hebron , 2015.

Al-Bakri was shot by Israeli soldiers at the time.

According to Maan, 55 Palestinians have been killed by Israelis since the beginning of the year during actual or alleged attacks, while 18 were killed during clashes with Israeli forces.

According to prisoners’ rights group Addameer, 300 Palestinian minors were being held in Israeli prison as of August.
