A Jewish woman from Ashkelon, who converted to Islam last week and married a Palestinian man from Rahat city, has now converted back to Judaism, reported local Israeli media.
The sources said that the woman went viral after pictures of her in a hijab outside Al Aqsa Mosque made the rounds on social media.
A right-wing extremist foundation, which works on preventing Jewish women from marrying Arab Muslim men, said that the woman had formerly served in the Israeli Defense Forces, adding that the Muslim-convert must have “received a message from God, which made her convert back to Judaism.”
