In a horrifying turn of events, a young man’s Facebook live video recorded while he was speeding down the highway, ended with his car overturning on Al Urdon Street.

The man survived by a miracle from God and he is now recovering in hospital.

Social media users slammed the man for his careless driving and demanded that stricter punishments are imposed on those who use their mobile phones while driving.

In 2016, seventy percent of minor car accidents were caused by motorists using their mobile phones.

Specialist studies revealed that 30 metres are crossed for every second of lost focus on the road.
“You can clearly tell if the motorist ahead of you is using a mobile phone,” according to the Central Traffic Department Director, Col. Yaser Harahsheh. “I avoid many car accidents everyday when other motorists using their phones lose track of the road or fail to abide by the speed limit.”
