A young Palestinian man was shot and injured by Israeli forces with a rubber bullet Monday night, during clashes in the Village of Tuqu in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The clash broke out between Palestinians and Israeli forces who fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the stone throwers, according to Ma’an news.

Meanwhile, the injured Palestinian who was hit with a rubber bullet to his back, remained unidentified.
An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an they were looking into the incident.
According to UN documentation, a biweekly average of 95 search and detention raids were carried out in 2016.
