These fabulous Jordanian ladies are changing the face of traditional gender roles by working at a petrol station in Amman, and Princess Basma Bint Talal is mighty impressed.

The Princess paid a visit to the “Jo Petrol” gas station - located in Al Madina Al Munawarah Street - to shake hands with the women making a difference in the Kingdom.

In a video posted on Princess Basma’s Facebook page, she is seen delightfully having a chat with the female petrol station-workers while they happily served their customers.

In one scene, Princess Basma walked up to one of the cars waiting to fill up their tank and asked the driver: “What do you think of our girls? Mashallah. Don’t they just make us hold our heads up high?”

“They are heroes in our eyes. With much confidence, these ladies overcome obstacles in order to provide for their families. They deserve our support and understanding,” Princess Basma said.
