The main road to Queen Alia International Airport has been closed in the areas of al-Sahaba, and al-Nakheel to construct the 'Sahaba Tunnel', according to the Ministry of Public Affairs.

Several detours have been opened to connect to the airport, stated Minister of Public Affairs and Housing Sami Halaseh, as traffic will be diverted from the main street to side detours in the Sahaba Tunnel area near the village of al-Nakheel.

Traffic will also be diverted in the Abdoun Corridor tunnel coming from Wadi Abdoun to Airport Road via one exit along the new detour.

For its part, the Ministry wished the drivers to abide by the traffic signs and laws along the site site, expressing regret for any inconveniences caused.
