The Criminal Investigation Division in Irbid have uncovered the details of a major theft, where one family’s home was robbed of $169,000 in cash and $10,000 worth of gold.

A security source said that the investigative team have placed one of the family members as their main suspect after finding strong evidence against them.

The suspect admitted to committing the robbery, adding that his partner in crime is not related to him and that they hid the stolen money and jewelry in another house.

The security source added that the money and jewelry have been recovered, while interrogations are still underway.
