The Anti-Narcotics Department raided multiple cells suspected of housing illegal narcotics across the Kingdom, seizing large quantities large quantities of substances in posession. 

At the Directorate of Public Security, the Department of Public Relations and Media stated that the Anti-Narcotics Department has been monitoring some of the most dangerous suspects of selling narcotics in the capital. The Department designated a special team, assigned to investigate and collect information on possession and movements of a large cell. 

The Department said that the team monitored the suspect 24 hours a day after locating a house north of Amman, which was used for storage and to carry out trafficking operations. After confirming the presence of the suspect and drugs inside, the team carried out a raid, arresting the suspect which was found with an illegal firearm. 

The team confiscated 18 bags of hash, quantities of various narcotic pills, and two bags of cocaine. 

In Aqaba, a similar operation was conducted, where a house of traffickers was raided arresting the traffickers and confiscating nearly two bags of cannabis, 97 strips of narcotic pills, and 1480 pills of amphetamine. 

Two more raids were conducted, one in the south of Amman and the other in Tafileh, according to the Drug Enforcement Division. In Amman, a source told the agency that a suspect was selling drugs locally, resulting in an ambush with the confiscation of cannabis and 400 narcotic pills. 

Meanwhile in Tafileh, a suspect was found selling cannabis in various forms from their van.
