Eight Palestinians were arrested by Israeli forces this morning during raids in different parts of the West Bank.

The raids were carried out in the village of Arraba, village of Bir al-Basha, Ramallah, Deir Abu Mashal, al-Jalazun refugee camp and the town of Silwad, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Organization.

Two other detentions were reported in the Aida Refugee Camp located in Bethlehem and in Hebron city, an Israeli army spokesperson said.

An average of 85 searches and detentions take place weekly, according to UN documentation.
