Amman sees lowest voter turnout in today's elections

According to the Independent Electoral Commission, the provinces of Karak, Mafraq,Ajloun and Jerash have witnessed the highest voters turnout till this hour. Meanwhile, Zarqa and Amman were the lowest.

Al Mafraq recorded the highest percentage (22.09%) with 39,317 voters.

The numbers of voters in Karak exceeded 34,773 voter citizens (21,89%), while in Ajloun, voters reached (21,26%) exceeding the number of 19,360 voters.

Jerash reached 19.49% with a number of 20,271 voters.

Amman recorded the lowest turnout, with the number of voters not exceeding 5.4% (78,996) voters. Zarqa has come in second lowest, with 13.3% (36,535) voter turnout.

In general, the number of voters in the Kingdom exceeded 423,000 voters, forming a percentage of 10.31%, out of 4,109,423 citizens who have the right to vote.
