Palestine and Denmark are joining forces in the sports world, as a group of boxing coachers and young boxers from Vollsmore Boxing in Denmark make their way to Palestine, Palestinian news agency WAFA has reported.

The team plan to conduct training sessions with their Palestinian counterparts at El Barrio, a boxing club based in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, from August 6 to 13, 2017, with the aim to establish Palestinian-Danish boxing cooperation.

“We look very much forward to receiving the Danish group in Ramallah, and we aim to develop a close and fruitful partnership between our two boxing clubs,” says El-Barrio founder and head coach Nader Jayousi.
