His Majesty King Abdullah II visited the Civil Defense Department ( CDD) where he met with its Director Major General Mustafa Al Bazaiah on Monday, Jordanian News Agency Petra has reported.

His Majesty was reportedly briefed by Major General Bazaiah on the CDD's approach in implementing plans to boost its capabilities and procure new and advanced machinery and equipment.

The King checked on the services the CDD provides to ensure the safety of citizens and stressed the need to continue the to develop the performance of the CDD.
