A fight broke out in the Lower House on Tuesday morning as deputies clashed over the government's decision to facilitate the withdrawal of Israeli embassy staff, including the guard accused of killing two Jordanians, from Jordanian territory.

Dozens of other deputies left the morning session of the Lower House to protest the government's "meager" and "humiliating" decision to allow Israeli embassy guard who shot dead two Jordanians to leave Jordan.

The entire staff of the Israeli embassy, including the guard who is believed to have show dead the two Jordanians, left Jordan via the King Hussein/Allenby border crossing late on Monday night.

MPs Sadah Al Habashneh, Khaled Al Fanatseh, Abdullah Al Aqeelah and Ghazi Al Hawamla attacked the government's handling of the killings, demanding that deputies withdraw from the session.

Fanatseh called for the dissolution of the Lower House, while Habashneh directly addressed Prime Minister Hani Al Mulki.

A video also appears to show MP Khaled Al Fanatseh striking MP Faisal Al A'war, as Fanatseh is walking out of the session.

It is reported that, because of the number of lawmakers who left the session, the Lower House did not meet the quorum needed to continue the session.
