A 17-year-old Palestinian was killed Saturday night after an old landmine, left over by the Israeli occupation forces, exploded in the northern occupied West Bank district of Tubas, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Palestinian Red Crescent evacuated the young man to the Turkish Hospital in Tubas suffering from critical injuries as a result of the explosion. He was later declared dead in the hospital.
