King Abdullah had a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin Thursday to discuss the latest developments in the Syrian Crisis after the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Southwest Syria.

Both leaders stressed the importance of the agreement, which is hoped to provide a suitable environment for the creation of a political solution to the Syrian Crisis.

His Majesty had praised the shared efforts of US President Donald Trump and Putin to implement a ceasefire in South Syria, saying that the cooperation of world powers will guarantee progress towards a political solution.
