The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) confirmed that there had been no recorded damages to the agricultural and livestock sectors in the heat wave the Kingdom is currently experiencing.

Farming directorates in all governorates have been following up on farmers and animal breeders and providing them with instructions and guidelines in order to avoid any damages that might occur to the plants or animals, according to MoA spokesperson Namir Haddadin.

Haddaddin reported no damage to livestock or crops in the Jordan Valley as a result of the cooperation between the Jordan Valley Farming Directorate and the Water Authority to provide farmers with the needed water to cope with the rising temperature.
