Hi Majesty King Abdullah II met with a number of top US administration officials during his private visit to Washington on Wednesday.

King Abdullah held a series of meetings with Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, Rex Tillerson, Foreign Minister, Secretary of Defence, James Mattis, Secretary of Homeland Security, John Kelly and Senior Advisor to President Trump, Jared Kushner.

The meetings focused on the latest developments in the Middle East, as well as discussing the ways in which Jordan and the US can strengthen their ties, the fight against terrorism, with a special focus on the importance of “intensifying coordination and cooperation among all concerned nations to counter ‘this danger’,” reported Roya News Arabic.
