One person was shot and injured on Saturday evening after a fight in Irbid refugee camp, 80 km north of Amman, according to eyewitnesses.

The witnesses told Roya that an argument started regarding stalls in the camp's market, escalating into a fight in which a person allegedly shot another person.

The injured person was taken to Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, where a medical source said his condition was fair.

A security source said that an investigation had been started into the shooting and a search is underway for the suspects.
