Security sources within Gaza’s resistance reported a series of operations targeting a militia allegedly collaborating with 'Israeli' forces.

According to statements made to Al Araby Television Network, the operations resulted in multiple deaths, injuries, and arrests among the militia members.

The sources said that members of the militia refused a 24-hour ultimatum to surrender and instead opened fire on resistance fighters, prompting a direct confrontation.

“We besieged the location of the militia and clashed with them, resulting in the death and injury of several, and the arrest of others,” the source said.

The resistance further accused the militia of executing civilians among the displaced population who were returning to inspect their homes in Gaza. The operations are described as part of broader security measures against groups collaborating with external forces, according to the statements.

"We will not allow any militia or criminal elements that collaborated with the occupation to spread chaos inside the Gaza Strip," the source further elaborated.

According to local unverified sources reported that the resistance arrested 60 individuals connected to the militia.

Earlier, Hamas forces have reportedly surrounded a house believed to be hiding Yasser Abu Shabab, following a deadly attack by an armed militia in Gaza City that killed several security officers and displaced civilians.

The operation comes amid heightened tensions in Gaza after the fragile ceasefire, as authorities move to contain the armed group responsible for the violence.
