Jordan’s Royal Tank Museum named among world’s top attractions by TripAdvisor

The Royal Tank Museum in Jordan has been awarded the 2025 Travelers’ Choice Award by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel platform.

The recognition follows the museum’s ranking as the 8th most recommended attraction out of 120 tourist destinations in Amman, placing it among the top 10 percent of tourist attractions worldwide.

The award reflects the museum’s growing popularity among both local and international visitors. Reviews consistently praise the professionalism of its exhibitions, the richness of its content, and the high quality of organization and visitor services, comparable to top military heritage museums around the globe.

This international recognition is based on a comprehensive analysis of positive visitor reviews submitted over the course of a year, highlighting the museum’s outstanding performance and guest satisfaction.

Museum Director General Nark Sajaja stated that the award is a testament to the museum's commitment to delivering an enriching and innovative experience for visitors from all over the world. He credited the achievement to the dedication and passion of the museum’s team and expressed gratitude to the Board of Trustees for their unwavering support.

“This award motivates us to continue striving for excellence and to solidify the museum’s standing as a national landmark and one of the world’s leading tank museums,” Sajaja said.

The Royal Tank Museum is considered one of Jordan’s most prominent cultural and tourist landmarks. It features a unique and rare collection of tanks and armored vehicles that document pivotal moments in the history of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, as well as in global military history.
