Gaza death toll rises despite ceasefire

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued Monday its daily “martyrs and injuries” report.

It said that five martyrs were received by the Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours. They included three bodies recovered from under the rubble, one new martyr, and one martyr who succumbed to their injuries – per the statements.

Another nine injuries were reported, also in the last 24 hours.

The death toll from “Israeli” aggression has risen to 48,577 martyrs and 112,041 injuries since October 7, 2023 – the statement concluded.
