'Israel' violates truce, kills Palestinian child

Gaza Ministry of Health issued a statement announcing that the death toll from Israeli Occupation aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 47,518 martyrs, with 111,612 injuries.

In the last 24 hours, 20 martyrs were received at Gaza hospitals, including 18 bodies recovered from under the rubble, one martyr who succumbed to their injuries, and one new martyr, a child killed in an airstrike on a vehicle which left 20 people injured.

The Ministry also confirmed that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as rescue teams and civil defense are unable to reach them due to the ongoing bombing and escalation.

Despite the ceasefire deal announced on January 19, 2025, 'Israeli' forces violated the truce with the latest attack. 

Amid the ceasefire, over 500 Palestinian detainees have been released, and Hamas released 18 'Israeli' captives. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have returned to northern Gaza.

Details of the second phase of the ceasefire are unclear, as 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly delayed sending a negotiation team to Qatar until meeting US President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, 'Israeli' forces have escalated attacks in the occupied West Bank, targeting Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tammun.
