Hamas has stated that the "Karameh Crossing operation," which resulted in the deaths of three “Israeli” settlers at the Karameh Crossing by an armed Jordanian truck driver, is a "natural response to the genocide carried out by the Zionist Nazi enemy" against Palestinians and its "plans for forced displacement and the Judaization of Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Hamas said that the "heroic operation is a response to the crimes of the occupation and a reaffirmation of our nation's solidarity with our people and their valiant resistance" in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The statement added: The operation "carried out by a Jordanian hero... confirms the Arab people's rejection of the occupation, its crimes, and ambitions in both Palestine and Jordan. It stands firmly with our people and their resistance, defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Hamas concluded by emphasizing that "Gaza, which defends the nation against the Zionists and has been engaged in a fierce battle for nearly a year, is calling on the entire nation and all freedom-loving people of the world to rise against the occupation in support of Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank, and in defense of our nation's dignity and national security."

Earlier today, the Israeli Occupation reported that three people were killed by gunfire at the Karameh Crossing, attributing the attack to a Jordanian driver on the other side of King Hussein Bridge.

The Jordanian government announced an investigation into the incident and the circulated reports of the shooter’s death, while traffic between Jordan and the West Bank was halted after “Israel” closed the Karameh Crossing from its side.
