The Israeli Occupation aggression against Gaza has entered its 211th day, as the mediated negotiations between Hamas and the Israeli Occupation gained second wind, amid reports of intensified involvement by the Biden administration in efforts to achieve a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal between the two parties.

The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" announced that a delegation from the movement would head to Cairo to continue discussions in light of recent contacts with mediators in Egypt and Qatar.

Hamas affirmed in a brief press release the "positive spirit" with which it approached the proposed ceasefire agreement recently received from Egypt.

Hamas stated its determination to push for achieving demands aiming which are the complete cessation of aggression, the complete withdrawal of Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) from Gaza, the return of displaced Palestinians, the commencement of reconstruction and relief efforts, and the completion of a prisoner exchange deal.

In Washington, 86 members of Congress signed a letter addressed to President Joe Biden regarding “Israel's” obstruction of aid to Gaza, urging him to halt arms sales to the IOF if it does stop violating the US law which required recipients of US arms to uphold international humanitarian law.
