US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Jordan on Tuesday as part of his Middle Eastern tour to discuss increasing aid to the Gaza Strip and the ongoing ceasefire negotiations.

This visit marks Blinken's seventh trip to the Middle East since October 7.

The US State Department revealed that Blinken will meet with King Abdullah II, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Sigrid Kaag, the United Nations Coordinator for Humanitarian Aid and Reconstruction in Gaza.

Later Tuesday, Blinken will travel to Tel Aviv to discuss ongoing negotiations for a ceasefire and the release of captives.
