Army: “Royal Jordanian Air Force ramps up air patrols to protect airspace”

The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army stated that at approximately 1 AM on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Royal Jordanian Air Force increased its air patrols to prevent any airspace violations and defend the skies of Jordan.

The spokesperson further stated that this action reaffirms Jordan's steadfast position of not allowing the use of its airspace by any party for any purpose, due to its infringement on Jordanian sovereignty and potential threats to national security and the safety of its citizens.
