His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call today, Monday, from King Felipe VI of Spain.

Both of their Majesties discussed the strong ties between Jordan and Spain, as well as mechanisms to enhance cooperation in various fields.

The call addressed the developments in the region, especially the deteriorating conditions in Gaza, efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire, provide humanitarian aid to the people of the Strip, and finding a political horizon to achieve peace based on a two-state solution.

They affirmed the continuation of coordination and consultation between the two countries regarding various issues of mutual interest, serving their interests, and enhancing global security and peace.
