Mousa Al-Tamari has been nominated for goal of the tournament award for his goal against South Korea in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup semi-finals.

Eight players have been nominated for the award, in which fans can vote on the AFC website.

Al-Tamari scored a wonderful goal against South Korea in the semi-finals - where he received the ball from midfield and skillfully dribbled past defenders before perfectly striking the ball from outside the penalty area directly into the net securing Jordan’s spot in the final in the process.

Al-Tamari competes with seven other players for the award, including Hyung-Min Son from South Korea, Abdulrahman Ghareeb from Saudi Arabia, Sardar Azmoun from Iran, Supachok Sarachat from Thailand, Faisal Halim from Malaysia, Hassan Al-Haydos from Qatar, and Kaito Nakamura from Japan.
