A notable surge in travel bookings to Qatar to show support for the national football team in the upcoming Asian Cup final match was reported by Suhail Halsa, President of the Travel and Tourism Agents Association.

The national carrier has ramped up its flight frequency from two daily flights to five, effective from Thursday until Saturday. Other airlines are maintaining their regular flight schedules.

Halsa estimates that over 2,000 are traveling to Qatar daily for the event.

Ticket prices have seen a rise of around JD 100, ranging from JD 300 to JD 580, depending on booking dates.

Most reservations are for four or five days, aligning with the final match falling on the weekend, despite limited hotel availability in Qatar.

The Nashama team is set to face off against the Qatari team in the 2023 Asian Cup final in Doha next Saturday at 6 PM local time in Amman.
