The Jordanian Olympic Committee submitted its bid to host the 17th edition of the Arab Sports Games, scheduled to take place in 2031.

The bid was presented at the headquarters of the Arab National Olympic Committees in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. The presentation ceremony included the presence of Dr. Sari Hamdan, the Vice President of the Jordanian Olympic Committee; Rana Al-Saeed, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Olympic Committee; and Abdullah Qteishat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Olympic Committee.

Rana Al-Saeed, the Secretary-General, emphasized the significance of Jordan hosting this edition of the Arab Games, highlighting its positive impact on the development of Jordanian and Arab sports.

Al-Saeed stressed the importance of the Arab Games as an integral part of the sports history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, citing the Hussein Games in 1999, which contributed to improving sports facilities and enhancing athlete participation.

Al-Saeed expressed Jordan's desire to host Arab athletes once again in the upcoming Games as a manifestation of Arab communication and solidarity through sports.
