The Wall Street Journal reported, citing informed US officials, that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) attempted to flood the tunnel complex belonging to Hamas in Gaza with seawater.

According to the newspaper, based on the officials' allegations, pumping seawater into the tunnels in Gaza is part of efforts to destroy the infrastructure of Hamas.

They pointed out that flooding Hamas tunnels in Gaza with seawater could take weeks.

In a separate context, Osama Hamdan, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, stated that the Israeli occupation committed 25 massacres in the Gaza Strip within 48 hours.
