Wednesday, the House of Representatives discussed His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah's visit to the Egyptian city of Al-Arish, to supervise the process of equipping and sending the second Jordanian Field Hospital to the southern Gaza Strip.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, said this step demonstrates that Jordan has been and will always remain in the 'nation's trenches,' with a firm stance in defending the justice of the Palestinian cause and our defenseless civilian people in the Gaza Strip in the face of the brutal and brutal machine of war and destruction.

He continued: "We in the House of Representatives welcome the efforts that led to the truce agreement in Gaza, and we always affirm that we and our great people stand united behind the efforts made by His Majesty King Abdullah II, Ibn Al-Hussein, in order to completely stop the brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip."

On behalf of the House of Representatives, Safadi directed a salute of pride and honor to the cadets of the First Field Hospital who continued their humanitarian work despite the bombing and destruction, and a salute of pride and appreciation to those who joined them from the staff of the Second Field Hospital, and a salute of glory also to the Falcons of the Air Force, who carried out heroic landing operations to provide aid to Gaza.

He concluded by saying that Jordan has always stood by Palestine's side, and will continue to prove that it is the closest to Palestine and that we are people of a common cause, history, and destiny.

"We will not let our brothers down and we will remain on their side until they achieve their legitimate rights on their national soil, and on top of that, their right to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital," he added.
