The Islamic Jihad Movement affirmed that an agreement has been reached regarding a partial prisoner exchange deal and a four-day humanitarian ceasefire, which includes the entry of hundreds of trucks carrying aid and fuel, as well as freedom of movement for the residents of the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the movement stated that non-civilian captives will not be released unless all prisoners in Israeli Occupation prisons are liberated.

It added that the resilience of the people in the Strip, their steadfastness on their land in the face of massacres, and the heroic acts of the resistance against the aggression forced the Israeli Occupation to give in to conducting an exchange deal.

According to the Islamic Jihad, the provisions of the prisoner exchange agreement aim to enhance resilience in Gaza and achieve victory for the cause of prisoners in the Israeli Occupation's prisons, as a prelude to the liberation of all prisoners and lifting the siege on the besieged city.

It emphasized confronting the Israeli Occupation on all field and political levels, leading to thwarting all the objectives of the aggression.
