Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called on President Joe Biden to intervene immediately to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Abbas stated that the Palestinian people deserve to live on their land with freedom and dignity and will remain resilient until independence is achieved.

Abbas described the situation as a humanitarian catastrophe and genocide, emphasizing the overwhelming impact on the Palestinian people in terms of killings and destruction, surpassing human capacity.

He questioned what the world is waiting for in the face of this genocide against the innocent people of Gaza and urged President Biden to use his international influence to intervene and stop the aggression.

Abbas appealed for immediate action to halt the ongoing attacks by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and the continuous terrorism by Israeli Occupation settlers against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

He warned of an 'imminent explosion' if these assaults were not stopped.

Addressing the recent massacres committed by the IOF in Gaza, Abbas called on world leaders to take responsibility for ending the aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people.

He highlighted the widespread destruction of homes, schools, hospitals, places of worship, public facilities and infrastructure.

Abbas reiterated that the Palestinian people deserve to live on their land with freedom and dignity, and they will remain steadfast until they achieve their legitimate rights to independence and statehood, with Jerusalem as its capital.
