President Joe Biden stated that every innocent Palestinian life lost is a tragedy that tears apart families and communities.

He emphasized that the Palestinians deserve their own state.

In an op-ed, he mentioned that our goal should not only be to stop the current war but to end it permanently.

Biden affirmed that the objective should be to break the cycle of violence and build something stronger in Gaza and across the Middle East to prevent history from repeating itself.

Biden expressed deep sorrow over the images coming from Gaza and the deaths of thousands of civilians, including children, stating that his heart breaks.

He insisted that the future we work towards in the Middle East should have no place for the violence of Hamas and its hatred.

Furthermore, Biden stressed that Palestinians deserve their own state and a future without Hamas.

He called for the reunification of Gaza and the West Bank under a single governance structure, and he opposed the forced displacement of civilians from Gaza.
