Elon Musk revealed that his satellite-based communication system, Starlink, will provide support to internationally recognized aid organizations operating in the Gaza Strip.

This comes following criticism from officials such as US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Palestinian ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot as well as many others regarding communication restrictions in the Strip.

This move aims to address the challenges faced by aid groups during the Israeli Occupation bombardment, which disrupted phone and internet services and left Palestinians in complete blackout on Friday night.

Additionally, Starlink has been deployed in Ukraine since Russia's military operation in February 2022, offering critical communication capabilities to high-tech soldiers in areas where traditional communication methods have failed.

Musk's involvement in Ukraine has sparked controversy, and his ownership of Twitter, now known as X, has raised concerns about the platform's reliability and its propagation of false information.
