The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced the closure of the King Hussein Bridge Wednesday for incoming passengers and cargo traffic, allowing only (1,250) passengers to depart.

In a statement, the PSD stated that there is no change in the travel movement through the Sheikh Hussein Crossing and the southern crossing.

They urged everyone to adhere to the issued statements regarding travel movement and to follow the media for any updates regarding the operating hours of the bridges and crossings.

This comes as Operation Aqsa Typhoon, launched by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, continues for the fifth consecutive day in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, which have been ongoing for decades.

In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has launched a campaign against the Gaza Strip, conducting a series of airstrikes in various areas.
