Friday evening, a dispute within a family in the southern Jordanian region of Wadi Rum escalated, resulting in gunfire and the tragic loss of a young man's life.

According to a security source reporting to Roya, the altercation led to the unfortunate demise of the young man, who was in his twenties, and left another individual injured.

The deceased was promptly evacuated, while the one who was injured received medical attention at the Prince Hashem Military Hospital.
