Mitchel Musso, recognized for his role as Oliver Oken in the TV show "Hannah Montana," has been arrested under suspicion of public intoxication and theft, allegedly involving the theft of a bag of potato chips.
The Disney sitcom co-starred Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus alongside the actor. On Saturday, authorities were summoned to a hotel in Rockwell, Texas, where the 32-year-old was reportedly involved in the chip theft, as per NBC's report.
BBC News has reached out to Musso's representatives for a potential statement on the matter.
Reportedly, when confronted with payment for the chips, Musso purportedly declined and engaged in verbally abusive behavior.
After conducting a background examination on Musso, law enforcement revealed multiple unresolved traffic-related warrants attributed to the actor.
Following a night spent in custody, Musso was released on Sunday upon posting a bond of $1,000.
The actor is also confronting allegations of having an expired vehicle registration, failing to display a driver's license, and breaching a "promise to appear" notification.
Alongside the jail records obtained by NBC, a photograph of Musso's mugshot was also made public.
Musso had a previous arrest in 2011 for driving under the influence in Burbank, California.
