A man in his thirties was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Thursday after a tire exploded in a tire repair shop in the Baqaa area in Amman.

Director of Al-Hussein Governmental Hospital in Salt, Rami Abu Rumman, told Roya that the young man was taken to the hospital with injuries in the face, head, lung and abdomen area.

He added that the general condition of the young man was described as "critical", stressing that the medical staff in the hospital are doing their best to save his life.
