On Wednesday, a Memorandum of Understanding (mOu) was signed between Al Oun for Alzheimer's Patients Care Association and SAWAAID App, a healthcare technology application, to achieve a successful partnership in providing high-quality home healthcare for patients.

The MoU also includes the exchange of expertise to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and provide information about support and assistance methods for patients and their families.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Hamza Nouri, the President of Al Oun Association, and Dr. Saif Haddadin, the CEO of SAWAAID App.

Under the MoU, SAWAAID will assist Alzheimer's patients and their families at home in accessing multiple options of carefully selected home healthcare service providers within the SAWAAID network.

They can request comprehensive and high-quality healthcare services to be delivered comfortably to their homes.

Mr. Hamza Nouri, the President of Al Oun for Alzheimer's Patients Care Association, expressed his happiness with this partnership, which will enable the association to meet the needs of home healthcare that had posed a challenge for the association and the patients.

He said: “On behalf of Al Oun for Alzheimer’s Patients Care Association we are delighted to announce our partnership with SAWAAID, an online platform that provides home healthcare services. This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to improving the lives of people with Alzheimer's and other dementias. SAWAAID's comprehensive services will make it easier for our patients to access the care they need, in the comfort of their own homes. I am confident that this partnership will make a real difference in the lives of many people.”

He added that this partnership will open new doors for further collaboration to improve the level of services provided to Alzheimer's patients, raise awareness about this disease and its impact on families and society, and achieve our main goal of establishing the first specialized care center in Jordan.

Dr. Saif Haddadin, the CEO and co-founder of SAWAAID, expressed his pride and satisfaction with this partnership, which paves the way for enhancing and accessing home healthcare in Jordan, especially for diverse groups with multiple needs such as Alzheimer's patients.

He also added, through SAWAAID, we seek to change the concept of home healthcare by providing comprehensive services in one place, emphasizing transparency and freedom of choice of service providers through modern technology.

Al Oun for Alzheimer’s Patients Care Association is a not-for-profit Association comprising a group of volunteers: professionals, Medical Doctors, and interested individuals in Dementia. AACA got officially registered officially in Jordan in September 2020 and fully registered under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Social Development by a group of devoted volunteers sharing the same visions of Alzheimer's Disease International and the World Health Organization.
