The Israeli Occupation authorities exhumed graves that belonged to dead Palestinians in the Yusufiya Cemetery to turn the cemetery into a biblical garden in Occupied Jerusalem.

The bodies buried in the cemetery belong to Arabs from Jordanian, Iraqi and Palestinian nationalities as well as remains for Jerusalemites who were buried there in recent years.

Since the excavations started, Palestinians have clung to the graves of their relatives in an effort to stop the exhumation by the occupation forces.
