The Egyptian Criminal Court issued a death sentence against a woman, her lover, and another person, for killing an 11-year-old boy after he saw his mother having an affair with her lover during the husband's absence.

The incident occurred in May 2020, when the Minya Security Directorate received information that a body of an 11-year-old boy was found.

Through investigations, it was found that the 33-year-old mother, her lover and another person killed the boy after he threatened to reveal the mother's affair and tell his father about it.

Later on, the mother confessed that they killed the boy.

On the night of the crime, the lover agreed with one of his friends to kill the boy. The friend agreed after the lover fabricated a story that the women was impregnated by her brother, and the 11-year-old boy was their son. 

The mother then told her child to go to the grocery store, where the lover and his friend kidnapped him and strangled him to death.
