Thursday night, at least three rockets were fired from south Lebanon towards the Israeli Occupation amid escalating violence in historical Palestine that has left over 100 Palestinians dead.

A Roya correspondent in Lebanon, quoting security sources, said that it is not yet known whether the rockets were fired by Palestinian resistance factions, as was originally thought to be the case, or by an individual acting outside of faction orders. No arrests have yet been made.

According to the security source, Hezbollah is not involved.

The rockets, which were launched just north of Naqoura, near the Israeli Occupation-Lebanon border, landed in the Mediterranean Sea. No casualties were reported.

The Lebanese Army has been deployed to the launch area, and Israeli Occupation warplanes have since been seen flying over south Lebanon, but the situation at the border is said to be calm.

The UNIFIL Official Spokesperson in Lebanon said that UNIFIL's head of mission is urging both Lebanon and the Israeli Occupation to exercise maximum restraint.

Since Monday, over 103 Gazans have been killed amid nonstop Israeli Occupation airstrikes. Hundreds more have been assaulted by the IOF across Gaza, the West Bank, and historical Palestine as Palestinians attempt to protest against the strikes on Gaza, and the illegal evictions of Palestinians in the Occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in favor of Israeli Occupation settlers.

This is a developing story.
